But it works pretty much the same as when you use a MIDI CC like modwheel to write automation, and not like a touch-sensitive fader on a control surface. But if you want to redo a portion of your ride afterwards touch or latch , fuggedaboudit! The touch sensor doesn't seem to communicate properly to Logic to let it know that you're holding your finger on it and so you end up with the kind of thing that the OP pictured above or similar.

You should check your Event List to see if there are any CC7 events there, and then select and delete them. Before I close this topic, I don't know you guys if you are agreed to transfer these kind of bugs to Logic Pro developers to improve in the next releases. You have what we call general bugs, these are observed on any machine or any characteristics and Particular bugs that are due to a particular configuration that a particular user have.
The fact that you are brought to delete manually those lines make it an inconvenient. Appreciate how you have guys have detected the solution, that makes it also a 'known' inconvenient the previous users have encountered as well! And again, it may be inconvenient, but that does still not make it a bug, general or specific. Specific "bugs" I prefer to call issues , because only faults or misbehaviours or problems that can be replicated on any Mac with the same OS and Logic versions!
I call bugs. The main difference: a bug can not be fixed by the user it can often be worked around though , an issue can be fixed by the user.
